2022: Organization of temperature control

On March 4, 2022, the Antor group of companies announced the implementation of a project to organize temperature control at the refrigerated warehouses of the frozen products manufacturer PKM Group.

Traditionally, satellite monitoring systems are used to control mobile objects, primarily freight transport, their movement routes, fuel consumption, and cargo transportation regimes. Meanwhile, the scope of application of IoT technology (Internet of Thing) is much wider - numerous sensors allow you to monitor dozens, or even hundreds of different parameters - from temperature, humidity, gas environments of warehouses, to the state of health of cattle. The software of monitoring systems collecting and processing information coming from sensors allows users to quickly receive alarm messages about emergency situations, deviations from specified parameters - thereby taking corrective actions in time to eliminate them.

The Antor LogistInWeb system was also initially used to monitor transport, however, representatives of the PKM Group asked to organize reliable temperature control at the holding's refrigeration warehouses.

As part of this project, ANTOR Group engineers prepared a special solution based on ANTOR LogistInWeb software, GLONASS SIGNAL S-2653 trackers and air temperature sensors. Compliance with the temperature regime in freezers, each of which has an area of more than 100 square meters and a ceiling height of more than 6 meters, was taken under reliable control. With a certain frequency, which can be easily adjusted by users, temperature sensors transmit data to ANTOR LogistInWeb.

The dispatcher can receive information at any time about the actual temperature in the refrigerating warehouses, and in the event of an emergency - an increase or decrease in temperature outside the permissible temperature corridor, an alarm message will be sent to the operator and all responsible employees about the need to take measures to troubleshoot the problem.
