"Areopagus" completed implementation of a 3D CAD

On January 27, 2014 it became known - Plant of the Dosing Equipment Areopag LLC in cooperation with engineering and consulting company IRISOFT implemented Creo automated design engineering system.

Project Tasks

"Our plant – actively developing enterprise, and information systems should provide a full support of our advance, - Alexander Sevastyanov, the chief executive of the plant of the dosing Areopagus equipment told. – Used by us before a CAD at complication of tasks became more and more exacting to the equipment that unfairly increased the cost of ownership of the solution and actually developments of each product. Besides, a few years ago our company stepped in new, technology more difficult in terms of, both design, and production a niche of oil and gas packaged equipment. Project implementation of such level was rather difficult to be executed at the design approaches established at the enterprise, to production and control. With respect thereto the plant's management made the decision on implementation of a new CAD".

Specialists of the plant analyzed the leading automated design engineering systems presented at the market. As a result, a choice was made for benefit of the software package Creo of PTC company. Among its features there are possibilities of hybrid solid and superficial modeling of parts, sheet parts, assemblies of any complexity with a possibility of design of a part in the context of assembly and the built-in means of the descending design and also receiving a documentation kit according to ^[1].

The engineering and consulting company IRISOFT became the partner in implementation of the software solution.

Project Progress

Within the project experts of IRISOFT company provided training of employees of the customer and implemented the software product, created uniform library of the standardized products and earlier developed products which use helped to lower time for development of new significantly.

Project Results

"Areopagus" at the end of 2013 implemented Creo Parametric, a full-function 3D CAD for development, parametrical design of products of any complexity.
