On October 13, 2015 the Aktiv company announced implementation of two-factor authentication by online edition "Parliamentary Newspaper" for access to author's accounts.
Project Tasks
The author's content published in internet mass-media creates image and reputation of online edition, being at the same time a certain portfolio of his authors. In some cases unauthorized change by the malefactor of the placed materials can result in risks more significant, than image losses of online edition.

The procedure of publication of material by the author is technically performed by means of access to the author's account, the scheme authentication is traditionally based on the login and the password. Level of modern hackers such is that there are almost regularly notifications about cracking of the similar authentication scheme (even the complemented different kapchama and server an antifraud systems) in Internet services of both mass, and office appointment. The most well-tried remedy of protection - transition to the two-factor authentication based on cryptographic algorithms.
Project Results
"The parliamentary newspaper" - one of the first online editions which implemented two-factor authentication for access to publication of content. In many respects it is caused by the high importance of content extended by the edition.
As means of two-factor authentication development of Aktiv company — the solution Rutoken Web is selected. In this solution the first authentication factor the USB token, as the second — knowledge of its unique PIN code acts. For access to the device from the browser the cross-browser and multiplatform plug-in is used. The solution does not require deployment of a difficult server framework and infrastructure of PKI.
