Prof-IT Group completed transfer of business processes of Pacific Logistic to a new ERP system

2019: Migration on 1C: ERP Enterprise Management

On October 29, 2019 the Prof-IT company announced, project completion on deployment 1C:ERP Enterprise management in Pacific Logistic company. Specialists of integrator in short terms performed migration about 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management on the modern solution constructed on the platform of the class ERP. Thanks to project 3PL the operator had significantly enhanced capabilities on analytics of data.

Requirement of the company for acceleration of process of data preparation, management decisions, necessary for acceptance, became premises of transition to this enterprise management system. Pacific Logistic was required to reduce terms of formation of the regulated and financial statements, to provide transparency of accounting and the high level of data protection in personnel records.

As the platform the 1C system was selected: ERP Enterprise management.

The first effects of the project are already visible, it is possible to say that we created the base for continuation of intensive development of the company in the highly competitive environment,

The project is executed within 6 months. During implementation the methodology of Agile which allowed to enter a number of the additional requirements connected with the analysis, design, testing and system deployment was used – changes managed to be included in the work plan at a stage of transfer of documents and trial operation of a system.

One more feature of the project – simultaneous system implementation in two functional directions, accounting and tax accounting, salary and personnel management. Specialists of PROF-IT GROUP carry out reconciliation of data with a historical system and separate rules of transfer of the remaining balance/documents are configured (under each type – the rules of exchange and processing). The set of test mechanisms which minimize cases of introduction of incorrect data is built in the solution.

The project covered jobs of financial directorate (accounting and services of planning), purchasing department and work with personnel. In perspectives of the project development of a system regarding process automation of production, budgeting and an inventory control (address storage of containers) is planned.
