PepsiCo in Russia integrated three businesses using SAP, about it the manager of projects of PepsiCo Russia Dmitry Meshkov told at "An industrial forum of SAP" on October 12, 2012.
Projects
Global PepsiCo implements SAP products already for a long time, and automation concerned the Russian business in 2010 when the holding included two more businesses and there was a need to pass to the general platform.
"We called this process transformation of the Russian holding in general because it was necessary to rebuild all automation systems in general in three businesses", - Meshkov told.
From 2010 to 2012 in the Russian division of PepsiCo the following systems were implemented: SAP APO, SAP for Retail, SAP ERP.
According to Meshkov, the command from more, than 120 people worked on projects on automation and SAP implementation in Russia: these are the staff of PepsiCo and representatives of the Russian and European offices IBM participating in the project.
More than 50 production lines and more than 6000 business processes were subject to automation.
Result
"As a result of implementation the processing speed and an output of the reporting and any necessary information was sharply reduced, in particular, it concerns financial statements", - Meshkov continued.
Objectives
Meshkov told TAdviser that the company is going to transfer in 2015 all not covered processes of the joint holding to the uniform integrarovanny SAP solution. In particular, it is going to implement a budgeting system and the module BI.
At the global level by 2014 SAP will increase the number of the countries where PepsiCo has a production with 10 in 2012 to 28. The number of the plants integrarovanny in a single system will grow from 75 to 187. It is going to carry out localization on 18 languages of the world while now a system works at 5 languages. The number of users will grow almost by 3.5 times from 6 thousand to more than 20 thousand employees.
