2020: Didzhitalization of selection of employees using Skillaz

On October 27, 2020 the PepsiCo company announced implementation of an intelligent system of selection of Skillaz for hiring of mass personnel (more than 5 thousand employees a year). It allows to reduce hiring terms, to save personnel recruitment command resources, does recruitment process seamless for the internal customer and the candidate.

Implementation took place within transformation of HR model and automation of HR services for employees. Skillaz became key IT solution of PepsiCo in the course of the organization of the Uniform service center for personnel recruitment. A system separates process of selection into the simplest transactions and helps to manage all stages: configure unique borda with the reporting under various parameters that helps to trace term at each stage of a funnel, to measure process performance and its participants, to provide relevant and detailed analytics to business.

Optimization of target process and methodology of personnel recruitment and also integration with Power BI became the main results of implementation at this stage. By the present moment terms of selection were reduced by 3 days in comparison with previous periods and also 100% of candidates are processed.

Skillaz became for PepsiCo the main ecosystem for selection of mass personnel in Russia. It is integrated with internal information environment which includes SAP, Atlassian Jira, MS Exchange and also the PepsiCo careers portal.

We want to hire the best employees quicker and more effectively that they with us remained for a long time and grew together with the company. Without modern automation systems it is already impossible to solve these problems. In Skillaz we received the business partner who is configured on our processes and effectively optimizes them. The seamlessness of process of selection, separation into separate simplest transactions and work in one system allowed to reduce selection terms by 3 days in comparison with previous years. And in closing of mass vacancies every day has financial value for the company,

2017: Testing of Skillaz at selection of students for summer school of sciences

The project of summer school of sciences is a part of the large-scale program of PepsiCo "Leaders of the agroindustry". A project objective is support of the higher agrarian, technical and engineering education in Russia. Search of talented children for work at the dairy enterprise of the company in the city of Timashyovsk of Krasnodar Krai became a project task this year.

Especially for this Skillaz project created the landing page with information on the program which could draw attention of children for participation in tender. Students filled out the questionnaire and selected the test from two directions — chemical/technology and engineering. HR specialists for carrying out telephone interview contacted the participants who coped with testing. By its results of the best children invited to participate in the project.

Within a week of work of school participants in commands created own projects with assistance of experts of the company. The experts involved in the project not only could give necessary knowledge to children, but also show how in practice production process looks. The presentations of ready projects and the choice of the best work as strict jury became the final of student's work at school. In addition to presentation skills of the children shown during protection of projects, the jury estimated both professional, and leadership skills of participants during the entire period of work of school. Children aimed to show as much as possible the abilities that according to the results of school to receive job invitation in the company.

Comment of the representative of PepsiCo (Alexander Solovyov, Specialist in brand development of the employer): Using the Skillaz platform we could optimize process of search and selection of talents in Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don. We managed to reduce significantly time resources that allowed to place additional emphasis on quality of selection. It would be desirable to note technical equipment of the platform which allows to work with a large number of candidates quickly.
