What tools were used by Permenergosbyt to control of IT infrastructure

On October 6, 2015 it became known of implementation in Permenergosbyt company of a monitoring system of IT infrastructure^[1].

Project Progress

As a part of an IT complex of the company more than 1 thousand network devices, about 200 units of the server hardware, 12 equipment rooms - they ensure functioning more than 80 offices of service "Permenergosbyt" distributed across Perm Krai.

Project Results

System implementation of monitoring allowed specialists to trace and to quickly eliminate failures in work technical and the software, to obtain performance data of the main business systems, notifications about the events which are taking place in all information systems of the company. Specialists receive the reports which are in detail describing indicators of controlled resources and processes, conduct pro-active work for warning of failures.

Pavel Girev, the head of department of information systems administration of "Permenergosbyt", noted: "Main advantage of system implementation of monitoring – transition from operational work to pro-active, directed to prevention of failures, but not their elimination upon. It in turn minimizes risk of suspension of a company performance".
