Content

Employees of the Saratov maintenance center of the cash registers (technical service center) of the company "1C: The first BIT" (1C: Accounting and Trade) PESTO cafes the software products "1C: Accounting 8" and " automated BIT: Cafes", connected a retail store equipment, the press service of integrator reported on April 5, 2013.

Before

Soon after opening an institution was not automated. The personnel manually executed all transactions. The large volume of paper work had an adverse effect on quality of formation of documents, led to errors in work. It complicated calculations, collecting of reporting information, its analysis.

For the purpose of increase in profitability, the management of business of "PESTO" made the decision on automation by means of program system of an industry profile. In selection process of the software careful monitoring of programs for automation of the enterprises of the sphere of public catering was carried out.

BIT: Cafe" interested the client after demonstration of the program. The democratic price and a possibility of test start of a system became decisive factors for benefit of its acquisition.

Solution

The project is implemented in agreed time frames. Programs are installed, the station of waiters is configured, the equipment is connected and data exchange between devices is provided. Before operation the test base is created, in it all main operations on product sales in the different modes and also formation of orders, arrival of goods, drawing up calculation maps and menu and so forth are performed. The personnel of "PESTO" were trained, received detailed instructions of users.

After two-week test term a system is started in work.

Result

Implementation of systems gave an opportunity to solve a number of important managerial problems. The majority of transactions were automated. Performance of work of personnel grew, the risks connected with activity of unfair employees decreased.

Rational use of food resources allows to reduce costs, to exclude regrading of goods in a warehouse. Function of price analysis permits to appoint competitive rates for services and products, and the powerful block on storage of stories on partners – to select reliable partners. Operational order processing positively affected service quality of visitors.

Thanks to consolidation of all management and financial information in uniform base, the management had an opportunity to objectively estimate dynamics of business, to perform strategic planning and forecasting.
