Petrokart implements technology 3-D Secure

On October 18, 2013 the Tieto company announced implementation in a processing center of Petrokart company of the solution using the 3D Secure protocol.

Processing center Petrokart together with Tieto implemented the implementing solution 3D Secure for the Visa payment cards. Using the solution Petrokart had an opportunity to provide to banks services in safe payments on the Internet.

Mâris Ozolinsh, the director of division of Cards, Tieto Financial Services, noted: "Use 3D-Secure is very relevant as the market in the field of e-commerce has very high potential. Security of calculations with payment cards upon purchases in an Internet environment increases growth of number online of purchases, and respectively, increases use of payment cards. Using the 3D Secure system Petrokart will help banks to protect himself and map holders from unauthorized writing off of funds from the account".

Olga Terekhova, the director Petrokart, emphasized: "Safety of calculations using payment cards is one of the main directions of development of a processing system Petrokart.
