Creation of IT infrastructure for the resort of Pioner Group

On December 1, 2017 the LWCOM company announced continuation of cooperation with Pioner Group. For the project of the company – the improving resort "First Line. Health Care Resort" – was created IT infrastructure.

Within this project specialists of system integrator organized infrastructure of a local computer network for the customer, implemented a complex of solutions on its protection and also constructed the productive and failsafe computer system.

The core of a local network is created using high-performance Cisco switches. For access for users to network the Allied Telesys switches are used. Safety of network is ensured by Fortigate firewalls. A computing part consists of storage system of Netapp, servers of Fujitsu and software of VMware.

Scaling of network infrastructure of Pioner Group

The LWCOM company completed in the spring of 2017 the second project stage on scaling of network infrastructure for Pioner group. Within this stage for the customer upgrade of a core of network is executed and the high level of network security is provided.

The structure of Pioner Group consists of the central office, building sites and sales points. Growth of business caused increase in number of representative offices and new requirements to information infrastructure: the core of network and protection of its border were organized based on the software with the ended support of the producer; the connections of remote platforms to the central office and VPN of remote access operating the scheme implemented earlier did not correspond to best practice today any more. Thus, in the company the decision on planned replacement of the equipment and complex reorganization of network infrastructure was made.

The LWCOM system integrator became the contractor for accomplishment of this project.

Within a complex of works specialists of LWCOM performed:

• Upgrade of a core of network. The outdated software was replaced with a cluster from two Cisco switches that promoted increase, performance of a local network. Replacement of the equipment provided failsafe connection to a core of network of server farms and access switches of users, the necessary stock on increase in productivity was created.
• Replacement of the software solution on protection of network edge on a cluster from two firewalls Fortigate. Devices receive relevant security updates and control traffic between a local network and the Internet. The protected VPN of remote access using best practices of global manufacturers is also organized, the technical base necessary for the organization of a branch network is provided.
• System implementation of monitoring of network activity which allows in real time of a message check of security of network traffic, and also to build reports on network activity for the specific periods.
