The system of personal data protection (PDN) in Plas-Tek company

The GlobalTrust Solutions company announced in the spring of 2012 completion of works on a system design of personal data protection (PDN) for Plastic Technologies Corp company. As a result of project finish the customer could provide compliance of the information system on processing of PDN to Federal law No. 152 "About personal data" and to the bylaws issued on its basis.

"Plas-Tek" – the processing company specializing in development and deployment of programs of loyalty on the basis of plastic cards for production, commercial and government institutions. Partners of "Plas-Tek" are more than 50 Russian organizations. So far the company issues more than 1,000,000 cards.

Business of "Plas-Tek" is inseparably linked with processing of PDN that causes the necessity of fulfillment of requirements of Federal Law No. 152 and also bylaws and regulating documents of the regulating authorities which are released on its basis. For audit of processing system of PDN and work on elimination of possible discrepancies specialists of the company made the decision to involve experts of a third party. After studying of several competing offers for execution of works the GlobalTrust Solutions company was selected.

At the first stage of project implementation the staff of GlobalTrust Solutions inspected the information system of processing of PDN operating at that time that allowed to reveal discrepancies to requirements of the legislation and to identify weak points in the system of protection of PDN.

On the next stage the system of protection of PDN was designed and the relevant organizational and administrative documents are developed that gave to specialists of "Plas-Tek" the accurate action program on reduction of an information system of the company in compliance with requirements of Federal Law No. 152 and normative and methodical documents of FSTEC of Russia.
