Platbox placed a part of the IT infrastructure in a cloud of Technoserv

On May 28, 2019 the company Technoserv announced what Platbox placed in cloud a part of the IT infrastructures, having selected service data center Virtual based on the platform virtualizations VMware. This service allows to use flexible approach in the choice of disk space: the customer can combine, having selected from four types of disks – from slow SATA to ALL Flash-storages for placement of especially exacting resources, including hybrid disks on SAS with caching on SSD. Therefore for the solution of the tasks Platbox used the hybrid pool consisting of disk space of SSD and HDD disks. Also specialists of cloud provider assisted the customer in creation of network infrastructure (VPN of the second level) which integrates virtual machines of the customer including located on other platforms, in a whole. For additional protection of Internet connections and stable contact with the equipment placed on the platform Technoserv Cloud, Platbox selected service "Redundant Internet access".

Blinov Mikhail told:

And we can adequately respond to this request, guaranteeing availability of the service for 99.95% – no more than 21 minute of idle time a month. Besides, our cloud has the closed segment focused on information systems which impose to a cloud service strict requirements on information security for compliance to the PCI DSS Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard standards — the standard of data security of the industry of payment cards.

Placing the virtual machines in a cloud, we get rid of a part of work on maintenance of operability of infrastructure and we reduce quantity of necessary hypervisors. Thus we release resources of own IT department for the solution of other tasks. Besides, upon transition to a cloud the Technoserv Cloud stability augmentation of work of our services was important.
