Duration of VKS Severstal makes 590 hours a month, 102 terminals are registered

The Polycom corporation announced in the spring of 2012 cooperation with JSC Severstal, one of the world's largest vertically integrated steel-making and mining companies. Severstal implemented the Polycom RealPresence Platform platform and video solutions of Polycom company for daily communication of employees from the different cities and the countries by video conference. Now the company holds sessions of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) which general duration is 590 hours a month; in its VKS network 102 terminals are registered.

Using solutions VIDEOCONFERENCING of Polycom the Severstal company provides the employees with an opportunity to contact from any place where they would not be, including during the business trips. Also large meetings at the international level (offices of the company are located in Europe and the USA), during which the management addresses to all staff of the enterprise are held. Besides, the department of personnel management uses VKS for holding interviews with potential employees.
