In Polyus Gold the project on unification of accounting in the unified information system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform is implemented
Polyus Gold, the largest producer of gold in Russia, automated accounting, tax and personnel records and payroll calculation based on the solutions "1C: Accounting 8 CORP" and "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8". A new system covered about one thousand jobs in more than 30 territorially remote divisions of holding. For the realization account of the project rules of conducting the regulated and personnel records were unified, collecting and consolidation of data significantly became simpler, payroll accelerated, and the management had an opportunity of online access to information necessary for the analysis, comparison and assessment of activity of divisions.
Polyus Gold conducts gold mining at 6 operating enterprises in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Yakutia, the Irkutsk region, develops the perspective project in the Magadan region. A number of service divisions in each of DZO also enters Earlier into group own methodology of accounting was used and the IT system was operated. As a result on collecting, processing and consolidation of data a lot of time left.
Within the project it was necessary to create a new uniform corporate information system which would allow to unify accounting and to provide operational obtaining information for the analysis, comparisons and estimates of activity of divisions.
Increase in effective management of personnel was other important task. Earlier HR records and rules of payroll in the companies of group were not unified owing to what there were difficulties with control over payments, efficiency evaluation of use of labor resources and wage fund. Also for the realization account of the project employees needed to accelerate processes of formation of personnel documents and calculation of remunerations and to provide operational formation of the summary reporting under personnel. As a basis for creation of a new corporate system solutions of the 1C:Enterprise 8 system were selected: "1C: Accounting 8 CORP" and "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8".
Also for development of the unified account policy and creation of uniform methodology of regulated accounting consultants of Sibintek company were invited. The 1C: Automation company became the partner in implementation and adaptation of a system.

We should understand well what means will allow the company to save or in addition to earn this or that IT project. At implementation and integration among themselves of the products "1C: Accounting 8" and "1C: Payroll and HR Management 8" we had definite answers on these questions".
The new corporate system covered about one thousand jobs in more than 30 territorially remote divisions of the company.
Key results of the project:
- All enterprises of group are transferred to the uniform methodology of accounting which allowed to receive the comparable reporting under all divisions. The staff of the central office does not need to spend time for reduction of information to a uniform format any more that considerably facilitated consolidation of data and reduced quantity of errors.
- For reporting according to IFRS data on each business unit directly from "1C: Accounting 8" are unloaded in a third-party system where their transformation and adjustment are executed. As a result time and labor costs for preparation of the consolidated statements according to IFRS are reduced approximately by 10%.
- Personnel document flow and rules of payroll is unified, formation of personnel documents accelerated, a design for work of seasonal employees, including residents of other cities and citizens of the foreign states became simpler. Algorithms, specific to the seasonal enterprises, of the summed-up time recording and other charges are automated. As a result the salary for employees is calculated much quicker.
- The corporate center obtains reliable information necessary for the analysis, comparison and assessment of activity of the enterprises of the company.
- The satisfaction of users with work of IT service is increased and two times are reduced costs within Group by the centralized maintenance and administration of the systems of accounting and personnel records.
Polyus Gold is going to continue development of a corporate IT system, including due to implementation of new development of 1C - 1C: Holding Management 8 that will allow to automate at the new level preparation of the consolidated statements, including reporting under IFRS, reconciliation of intra group turnovers and also work of treasury.
