"Power generating systems and communications" unrolled Cisco ACI infrastructure

On October 24, 2016 the Cisco Systems Russia company announced creation of a hardware and technical complex of automated information system in JSC ESK.

The need for creation of a high-speed data network at JSC ESK arose in connection with growth of volume of the processed information.

Works in the project were performed by IT department of JSC ESK company without involvement of third-party contractors.

Project Results

The operating company of fiscal data created a high-speed wired network of data transmission on the basis of infrastructure of Cisco focused on applications (Application Centric Infrastructure, ACI).

The DPC provides safe and uninterrupted information transfer that is crucial for accomplishment of transactions online. The network is designed so that in case of refusal the equipment or failure of DPC will continue to work.

Security and confidentiality of these clients is one of our main priorities at design of infrastructure of the fiscal data operator. For this reason at creation of a hardware and software system we aimed to apply the best world solutions having high utilization properties, quality and reliability. Award enforcement of Cisco allowed us to build the protected, high-performance data network in a short time and the first of fiscal data operators to undergo external audit of information security and to receive the certificate of compliance to security requirements of information on the fourth class of security. We are very glad that the solution Cisco ACI becomes more and more demanded both in Russia, and in other countries of the world. The combining flexibility of the software and scalability of hardware performance, architecture of ACI is intended for automation of IT tasks and the accelerated implementation of applications. In addition to high utilization properties, this solution differs in simplicity in deployment: in JSC ESK company all project stages were implemented by forces of own IT department.
