2020: Implementation of Center 2M IoT-M2M Platform

On August 11, 2020 the Center 2M company reported that it completed a pilot project on provision of services of communication of M2M for power supply company "Vostok". Since May, 2019 in representative offices in the Ural Federal District sim cards for installation in "smart" devices, office and specialized motor transport and also in other remote and moving digital objects of the customer were delivered.

According to the company, for control of a large number of "smart" devices using the sim cards working in standards of mobile communication 2G, 3G, 4G at all territory of the Russian Federation specialists Center 2M offered JSC EK Vostok the M2M-platform – the solution for intellectual control by connections of the next generation. Development is indivisible element of digitalization of production processes. It represents the platform of management and data processing, received from "smart" devices (sensors, sensors) which transfer them to different applied information systems. The technology mainly works under wireless radio-protocols of networks of mobile communication, however can also support LPWAN family devices (LoRa and others).

The M2M-platform allows to simplify and automate work with a large number of devices, their accounting, geodistribution and control of loading, minimizing error probability as a result of a human factor and also provides non-failure operation of operation of SIM cards and a good signal in each timepoint. Automatic procedures of prevention of unauthorized use of sim cards are also developed, tested and implemented that provides minimization of inappropriate finance costs at legal entities — subscribers Center 2M.

For August, 2020 our M2M-systems consist from more than 5 thousand "smart" devices in several regions of Russia. Thanks to the fact that Center 2M specializes in telecommunication services in the field of industrial Internet of Things they proposed to us the solution on cost optimization on installation and use of earlier implemented IoT-devices.
