The Power Supply Systems and Technologies company automates work of a warehouse as the WMS solution

The ant Technologies company completed the project of complex automation of a warehouse of Power Supply Systems and Technologies company. As the software solution the automation system of work of the warehouse WMS Logistics Vision Suite served in the project.

Background

The volume of warehouse spaces of the customer is about 7,000 sq.m, warehouse capacity – 12,000 ^m3. In a warehouse the company performs storage and shipment of goods with a large number of nomenclature positions: lamps, lamps, electrotechnical products, lamps, primary batteries, accumulators, chargers, hour and special batteries and another.

In process of business development the Power Supply Systems and Technologies company faced increase in intensity of warehouse transactions and the increased volume of tasks of accounting of warehouse goods. For business process optimization of a warehouse and improving competitiveness of the company the decision on a project startup on implementation of the warehouse management system meeting the modern requirements was made.

As the supplier and integrator of a system the ant Technologies company having long-term experience of implementation of the WMS system of Logistics Vision Suite in warehouses of different industry orientation was selected. The minimum cost of its ownership, i.e. an opportunity in the future easily was the main criterion when choosing a product and with the minimum costs to adapt and customize a system the customer's resources.

Solution

In the project progress adaptation of the Logistics Vision Suite system under the client's business challenges is performed that allowed to automate the logistic processes of a warehouse complex (including a full stroke of processing of goods and also its marking, repacking, sorting). Installation of user licenses is executed on 15 at the same time working jobs. Within the project integration of Logistics Vision Suite with the accounting system of the customer of 1C is made.

Specialists of ant Technologies Educational Advice center provided complex training of the administrative and warehouse personnel involved in work with a system and the equipment. In 6 months of operation of a system the company noted increase in efficiency due to cutting of costs for warehouse processing of goods, performance improvements of work of personnel and capacity of a warehouse, fall forward and quality of assembly of orders, cost reduction of time for preparation of documents.
