Softline Digital smart helmets have improved safety at PIMCU production sites

2024: Completion of Proteqta implementation

The Public Joint Stock Company, Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Association (PJSC PIMCU) an enterprise of the Mining Division of the State Corporation Rosatom"," as part of the program for the digitalization of production processes, completed the implementation of an integrated industrial safety solution (Proteqta Smart Helmets) at two of its divisions: the TPP and the Urtuyskoye section management. The developer and integrator of the software and hardware was the company, Softline Digital (ГК Softline) which announced this on November 8, 2024.

The work uses 150 smart helmets with personnel positioning modules. With the help of the Proteqta system, the Occupational Health and Safety Service of PJSC PIMCU divisions will be able to receive data on the movement of employees while working in hazardous areas, the height at which they work, and the time spent in high-risk areas. In addition, helmets will notify about strikes and monitor compliance with labor protection and safety standards.

The implementation of this system is important for the company, since it significantly reduces the risk of accidents and increases the efficiency of workers.

In smart helmets, this provides the LoRaWAN wireless protocol, which transmits data up to 15 kilometers.
