By the end of November 2021, more than 5 thousand medical institutions operate in the Ukrainian electronic health system. More than 523 million electronic medical records were entered into information systems, in particular, visits, diagnoses, appointments and conclusions about the patient.
A total of over 32 million Ukrainians who chose their family doctor use the electronic health system. It is noted that since the beginning of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19, 597 laptops and optical mice have been purchased at the initiative of the Ministry of Health to provide health institutions with the necessary equipment at the expense of a joint project with the World Bank "Improving Health in the Service of People."
In the summer of 2021, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine launched the Laptop to Every Teacher program, and now the Ministry of Health of Ukraine has decided to introduce a similar program for medical institutions. The program was not called "Laptop to every doctor," because as part of this initiative, not all doctors will receive laptops, but only healthcare institutions that vaccinate Ukrainians against COVID-19.[1]
