In September 2024 Moscow , she signed a contract for the purchase of electric vacuum sweepers for a total of ₽57,8 billion. According to Interfax, according to the terms of the contract, the first batch of electric harvesting machines will be delivered by the end of 2024. The production is designed for a long time, with the completion of the project by 2031. The contract provides for two stages: at the first stage, until 2027, machines of the same type will be delivered, at the second stage, from 2027 to 2030, new modifications of equipment will be added.

Each cleaning machine will have an all-wheel drive chassis and a vacuum system for cleaning streets. The machines are equipped with batteries that allow you to work without recharging for up to 6 hours. The approximate mass of special equipment will be 4.2-4.6 tons, and the length - from 4.3 to 4.7 meters. The equipment will be equipped with road brushes, deicing material distributors and other auxiliary elements, which will make it ideal for use on the streets of the city in different weather conditions.

According to the public procurement website, the cost of one car is estimated at ₽31,6 million. Based on the total amount of the contract and the average cost of one unit, Moscow can receive about 1.8 thousand cars during the term of the contract. Financing of the project will be distributed as follows: in 2024 ₽948 million, in 2025 - about ₽10 billion, in 2026 - ₽11.5 billion, and for the remained years are allocated, up to 2030, will be directed for ₽6 - ₽12 billion annually.[1]
