At the end of October 2024, the Moscow Region government announced the allocation of ₽2 billion for the purchase of server equipment for data centers (data centers) in the region, aimed at increasing their productivity and expanding the capabilities of digital infrastructure.
According to CNews, the purchase is carried out through two tenders. The first tender, announced on September 25, 2024, had an initial cost of ₽999,8 million. The winner in it was TS Integration LLC, which offered a minimum amount of ₽964,8 million. As part of the contract, the supply of the necessary equipment has already begun, including software and hardware complexes (PAC), designed to modernize data centers.
The second tender worth ₽998 million was published on October 11, 2024, and the winner will be determined by the auction on October 31, 2024. Both tenders involve the delivery of PACS with REST API support and integration with Ansible and Terraform configuration management systems, which will ensure compatibility with systems already available in data centers. The installation of the equipment is scheduled for completion on November 8 and December 12, 2024.
The Moscow Region government already owns two of its own data centers, built in 2013, which made it possible to abandon rental capacity and improve the security of data processing. According to data published by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region in August 2024, more than ₽95 billion have been allocated for the creation of ten new data centers. This investment is aimed at ensuring sustainable digital development of the region and neighboring areas.
The winner of the first tender, TS Integration LLC, a subsidiary of the T1 holding, specializes in system integration and automation. The company has more than 600 employees and has earned over ₽11 billion in government contracts throughout its operations.[1]
