In Glyukoza Production company implementation of corporate network storage high-end of level comes to the end

The LIGHT Computers company completed implementation of the system solution of SONAS in Glyukoza Production company.

Within the project the Glyukoza Production customer company sets the task of upgrade of IT infrastructure in connection with implementation of the large-scale project of production of the full-length animation film.

Solution

LIGHT Computers offered the customer implementation of IBM SONAS. According to data of the company, the project in Glyukoza Production - the first implementing solution SONAS in Russia.

A system allowed to consolidate separate data on different projects, to reduce time of data access of large volume and also to repeatedly increase the potential volume of the stored information. Along with all above-mentioned opportunities, the delivered solution is used by Glyukoza Production company as the main storage location of data.

Result

Now the solution passes a test stage, but already now, according to responses of the customer, there are results:

• the scalability of high-performance access for more than 100 jobs is provided;
• access rate to data is increased more than twice;
• in connection with consolidation of data costs of Glyukoza Production for service of the separate systems are considerably reduced;
• migration of the saved-up data in new DWH without interruption of activity of the company is provided.
