To what "cloud" "TsUP of ChAEZ" transferred IT infrastructure

On October 19, 2015 the ActiveCloud company announced project completion on upgrade of IT infrastructure of Project management center of the Cheboksary electrohardware plant and its migration in "cloud".

Project Tasks

Earlier IT infrastructure of the customer was placed on own server hardware ensuring functioning of all complex of applications necessary for business. However physical and the obsolescence of the equipment and the software products unrolled on it dictated need of updating of hardware and program assets. Input in a system of new office of the company became the catalyst of the project of upgrade of IT infrastructure, and the absence in the building of the premises for server inclined IT specialists of the enterprise to the choice of cloud model of use of IT.

According to the results of the held tender as the contractor of the project selected the ActiveCloud company which proposed the most complete solution of the tasks set by the customer.

"The company had the developed IT infrastructure including different server and peripheral equipment, the park of workstations and a complex of software solutions – including, different system services, a mail service and a number of business applications on the 1C Platform, – Evgeny Zhiltsov, the top manager on work with key clients of ActiveCloud company told. – We should unroll in a cloud a modern IT environment under needs of the customer, to provide migration of all services from the local platform without idle time and to transfer all staff of the company to an operation mode with remote access".

Project Progress

During the project specialists of ActiveCloud performed a complex of works on setup of cloud infrastructure of the enterprise:

• unrolled domain and file services,
• installed application servers and databases,
• configured a terminal farm with the publication of applications and authorization using tokens,
• transferred mail in SaaS Exchange and integrated it with jobs.

For the period of migration between the local platform and "cloud" the hybrid environment allowing employees of the customer to continue work while engineers of the contractor moved information services and data to other platform worked.

Project Results
