Promsvyazbank completed internet marketing system testing

On April 27, 2015 the ActiveCloud company announced project completion of providing cloud infrastructure for stress testing of a marketing Internet system of Promsvyazbank.

Project Tasks

The IT department of Promsvyazbank designated a task - to ensure stable system operation, critical for business.

It is used for the All-Russian marketing actions when which carrying out load of servers repeatedly increases.

For stress testing the bank did not have enough resources of a test circuit, and it is impossible to test on production servers. The decision - to rent cloud computing resources in ActiveCloud company was made.

For correct carrying out tests it was required to transfer a test circuit of a system to "cloud" with preserving of all functionality configured earlier. Deployment of the stand "from scratch" assumed involvement of developer company that could bring to serious financial to costs and would stretch project terms. Therefore when choosing ActiveCloud, as the contractor, presence at service provider of experience of carrying out data migrations in a cloud environment was a decisive factor.

Project Progress

During the project specialists of ActiveCloud performed works on deployment of IaaS-infrastructure in public "cloud" and transferred a test circuit of a system necessary for bank there.

Project Results

In a project deliverable capability is confirmed to maintain peak loads of a marketing Internet system.

As a part of servers of Promsvyazbank is not virtualized, applied the specialized solution of ActiveDRS which helped to transfer to a short time servers of a test circuit in "cloud" - despite heterogeneity of the equipment used by bank and virtualization platforms to cross-platform migration.
