Pulkovo Airport, with the participation of Reksoft, has introduced its own system for managing the airport's mobile resources

2023: Commissioning of the first stage of the mobile resource management system

Pulkovo Airport commissioned the first stage of the mobile resource management system (MRMS). The integrated import-independent solution allows planning and management of the airport's personnel and technical resources to ensure a full cycle of aircraft maintenance: from the moment of landing to the moment of takeoff, including the preparation of data for mutual settlements with airlines and counterparties. The development was carried out by the airport team together with the specialists of the IT company Reksoft, which announced this on June 28, 2023.

The airport is an object of critical infrastructure, the provision of uninterrupted and safe functioning of which is extremely important and under the close attention of the state. The implementation of the Pulkovo MRMS system is being carried out as part of the program for transferring systems to Russian software and is one of our priority projects in this area. During the project, we developed a special mathematical algorithm that allows us to work out multi-level planning in a predictive mode, "said Andrei Nesterov, information technology director of the Northern Capital Air Gate company, which manages Pulkovo Airport.

MRMS already automates the operation of the aircraft consumer services service, baggage handling service, and the aircraft escort group (Follow me). The next step will be to connect the apron passenger bus management process and apron service.

For each service, a mobile application was created with individual interfaces for line employees and managers. It provides data for the work of a specific unit, allows personnel to be in touch while on duty, exchange information about the status of aircraft maintenance and available resources.

The mathematical algorithm of the solution aggregates information from various airport systems, which contain data on the status of all flights, the load and schedule of personnel, the availability of the necessary equipment. The module automatically allocates available resources and displays information to the manager service, which, based on the received analytics, makes a decision on the allocation of resources.

Also, the system automatically collects data on the actual load of personnel and equipment and on their basis will form documents for billing for the services provided to Pulkovo airlines and counterparties. This made it possible to increase the transparency of the information provided.

The system is constantly developing, the rest of the airport services are connected. Each module requires new connections and interfaces that take into account the business processes of a particular department. But we can already say with confidence that as a result of the development of the system, the Pulkovo team with our participation created a solution that takes into account the needs of the international airport, - said Alexander Semenov, Director of the Transport and Logistics Department of Reksoft.
