Project Description
Specialists of Quantum International implemented a warehouse management system – Qguar WMS, on the new complex of 16 thousand sq.m belonging to the distributor of materials for water supply systems, heating and the sewerage – Vodoley LLC, having applied a number of unique functionality of a system.
Qguar WMS, except standard business processes of the logistic center, assumes existence of unique functionality which will allow to combine management of a distribution warehouse (for products of Vodoley LLC) and also a warehouse of safe custody on one logistic object.
Specific Features
Specialists of Quantum International configured a number of functions in the Qguar WMS system especially for Vodoley LLC, namely:
- A system will work in the Multi-user Capability mode that means work on the unique scheme with each partner (distributor) of the company.
- Qguar WMS will give the chance of individual calculation of logistics services for each individual partner.
- Billing will be made taking into account the "parameters" of partners which are in advance stipulated with the Customer: manual or pallet shipment / loading of goods, marking by the special label, time of stay of goods in a warehouse, indicators "the volume, weight, the occupied space", a complete set pallets on the preset algorithm, etc.
- Qguar WMS will allow to service work with bulky goods in a warehouse, applying special algorithms of optimization of filling of warehouse places and effective use of warehouse space.
- A system will manage work on the loading equipment, servicing difficult transport instructions – Qguar WMS will separate "tasks" depending on technical characteristics (for loaders, for pilers: with arrow height to 8 m and up to 12 m).
- The warehouse management system will consider features of an object - it is a flowing (end-to-end) warehouse that allows to reduce significantly accident rate and undesirable intersection of business processes.
