Amstor for increase in efficiency of sales uses a BI system

In Amstor supermarket chain the QlickView BI system is brought into operation. The project was executed by RBC Group company.

The project is implemented less than in 4 weeks. Within the project development of a task, installation and setup of the solution on the basis of a BI system, training of end users and developers is executed. The new system of a business intelligence will allow to receive quickly responses to the crucial requests arising in management of the company. For example, users can get instant data access now, up to the level of a separate line of any of 85 million checks which are in a system and containing records about 640 million purchased goods items and also flexibly to analyze the daily remaining balance numbering 150 million separate lines.

To system implementation in the company 150 reports for performance management of sales were used. Now all of them are brought together in the single system of a business intelligence including two separate applications – the analysis of sales and stocks, the detailed analysis of checks. These applications allow the staff of the company to manage much better the range, efficiency of operational processes, it is better to understand and satisfy preferences of consumers, to achieve reduction of the inventory level and to increase their turnover.

If earlier obtaining the complete report on inventory turnover required about 12 hours, then now its calculation takes only several minutes, at the same time load of the server of the accounting system is considerably reduced. Taking into account the scale of network and upward potential of efficiency of sales the company expects to pay back completely already in the nearest future the business analysts of investment enclosed in a system.

According to Vasily Zelyuk, the head of department of the information systems "Amstor", according to the results of implementation and the first weeks of system operation it is possible to tell that the choice of a system was repaid: high speed of work with huge amount of data, a clear and user-friendly interface of the user, a possibility of adding in applications of new measurements without recalculation of all amount of data are those key indicators which once again validate the choice of a system of a business intelligence.

In a system 15 employees of the kompnii-client work. In plans of company management – to expand scope of a system of a business intelligence, in particular having developed the "Analysis of a Remaining Balance on Batches" application by forces of own IT department.
