Quantum Capital Consulting develops and finishes EDMS

Digital Design completed the project on system implementation of electronic document management on the DocsVision 4.5 platform in Quantum Capital Consulting, previously having performed optimization of basic IT infrastructure of investment company.

Within the first part of the project experts of Digital Design upgraded IT infrastructure of Quantum Capital Consulting and put into operation IT components, necessary for EDMS. In a work progress specialists of IT integrator unrolled service of virtualization Microsoft Hyper-V 2. In this environment virtual servers on one of which the electronic document management system was installed afterwards were configured. Also the staff of Digital Design configured service of the Active Directory directory and created a mail system based on Microsoft Exchange 2010. At the same time the system of antivirus protection of the server of e-mail was unrolled and remote access to the web interface of a mail service from the Internet is provided. These and other actions helped to optimize IT infrastructure of Quantum Capital Consulting for system implementation of electronic document management.

According to Dmitry Livshits, the commercial director of Digital Design, "preparation of basic IT infrastructure of the company for the EDMS installation is a competent and serious approach to case. Quite frequent mistake made upon transition to the automated document flow is insufficient equipment of the company hardware and the software, the improper organization of IT resources that can lead to inefficient system operation and emergence of malfunctions. Inspection of IT infrastructure and the subsequent upgrade guarantees easy implementation of EDMS and provides its smooth functioning and possibilities of further development".

During the second part of the project specialists of Digital Design implemented an electronic document management system. EDMS provides registration of the entering and outgoing correspondence, orders, orders. Also process of approval of the agreements connected with a business activity of Quantum Capital Consulting was automated. At the same time the route of approval can be set individually depending on specifics of the document. Besides, EDMS gives an opportunity of control of performing discipline. The staff of remote office Quantum Capital Consulting will be able to work with a system through terminal access.

Konstantin Voloshin, the administrative director, Quantum Capital Consulting, comments: "In our company a number of large projects which affect activity practically of all departments is constantly kept. Therefore it was important to us to receive the effective instrument of approval of agreements on these projects which will provide operational and reliable processing of such documents. So far to sum up the results of implementation early, but the effect is visible already now. Our employees began to spend less time for work with documentation, and the efficiency of execution of the issued instructions considerably increased".

2013. Additions, completions

The Digital Design company implemented for Kvantumkonsalting company version of the "Automation of Process of Approval of Supplementary Agreements and Execution of Tasks" project, an essence completion of an electronic document management system on the Docsvision platform, the company integrator reported on July 10, 2013.

"During implementation of the new project the Digital Design command not only developed process of approval and performed testing of results, but also carried out full trial operation and trained users of a system. At the same time due to application of our solutions all work was done for rather short time — within April-May, 2013, and the project was complete just in time" — Oleg Greshnev, the director of the department of corporate systems of Digital Design noted.
