RGGRU (1C:Enterprise 8)

The office "AVROBUS" of 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) completed the first stage of implementation "1C:Enterprise 8" at the Russian state prospecting university (RGGRU) of Sergo Ordzhonikidze. Calculation of grants and accounting of activity of the hostel is automated. A system allows to calculate the academic grant and other charges to students with a possibility of payment through bank, to keep account living in the hostel, to control payment of the hostel and to receive necessary financial statements.

The Russian state prospecting university (RGGRU) of Sergo Ordzhonikidze was founded in 1918 as the Moscow mountain academy. For these years the university trained more than 25 thousand specialists, 1500 candidates and 400 doctors of science. Now at the university about 5 thousand students are trained. RGGRU is a scientific center with a broad thematic spectrum of research works, from the most difficult problems of search, investigation, development and processing of minerals to economic and ecological evaluation of effects of anthropogenic impact on the environment.

Long time account of RGGRU was kept in separate databases. It led to emergence of errors in the reporting, to duplication of information, unjustified time expenditure. For the solution of these problems the management of university initiated the project of creation of a single system on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform for conducting accounting and personnel records, payroll calculation and grants, accounting of activity of the hostel. The project is charged to specialists of office "AVROBUS" of 1C: Accounting and Trade company (BIT) with whom RGGRU works since 2008.

Now the first stage of the project – automation of calculation of grants and accounting of the hostel is completed. Using standard program capabilities "1C: Payroll and a budget institution staff 8" calculation of a grant for one and a half thousand students of RGGRU is automated.

The following sections are automated:

• operational and precise calculation of the academic grant and other charges to students (social grant, surcharges to graduate students, masters, presidential grant and so forth);
• charge of any number of allowances and surcharges of long action which are paid together with a grant during the term of their action;
• payment of a grant through bank;
• obtaining reporting under results of calculation of grants: pay slips, the pay-sheet, an accrual summary and deduction, the code on economic transactions, etc.

We thank specialists of "AVROBUS" for the qualified support. Also connection to the system of department of payroll calculation and personnel department is planned". More than 2 thousand students and the staff of university live in the hostel of RGGRU. Accounting in spreadsheets did not allow to receive the reporting under empty seats and living, quickly to control payment.

As a result of automation users had an opportunity to keep account living, to automatically create standard documents (the warrant for settling, the employment contract, the directions in cash desk of the university taking into account privileges, etc.), to keep account of appliances of the hostel, etc.

If earlier obtaining the reporting was impracticable, now a system automatically creates reports on number living with filtering on different characteristics, existence of empty seats in the hostel, settlement and debts, financial performance, appliances of the hostel and others.

Golovin Sergey Vladimirovich, the director of the hostel comments: "Implementation "1C:Enterprise 8" allowed to make more transparent accounting of payment and to avoid unauthorized rental of premises. We could control quickly existence of empty seats and plan settling according to these data".
