In October 2017, RT-Inform entered into an agreement with ALMIs for the supply of Microsoft licenses . The contract price is 49.5 million rubles.
2015: Failed purchase of Microsoft licenses for 120 million rubles.
On May 13, 2015, it became known about the start of the procedure for purchasing Rostec licenses by the state corporation ON Microsoft for almost 120 million rubles. Among the products purchased were 3,720 licenses designed to legalize "pirated" copies. Windows The purchase was organized by RT-Inform[1]

In the tender documentation were indicated corporate licenses:

- client programs for using Windows Server - more than 1500 units.,
- Microsoft Office Professional Plus about 3000 licenses,
- Microsoft Office Standard more than 1,100 licenses,
- 300 license sets of CoreCAL,
- MS Exchange Server multiple licenses,
- MS SQL Server multiple licenses,
- Project Server multiple licenses,
- MS Visio
- other corporate software.
Among the software purchased by Rostec is 3720 licenses of type WinPro 8.1 SNGL OLP NL Legalization GetGenuine wCOA. Such licenses are intended for corporate buyers to legalize installed "pirated" copies of Windows Professional 8.1.
In December 2014, Rostec, through RT-Inform, acquired 1655 licenses of this type. As of May 13, 2015, Rostec did not give explanations to media questions about the goals of such a large-scale purchase of legalizing licenses.
The replacement of Microsoft products with domestic or open analogues was not considered, since, according to representatives of the state corporation, "the change of software involves interference in the production activities of the enterprise, which may have unforeseen consequences, up to the breakdown of the deadlines for the implementation of the state program."
On June 9, 2015, it turned out that not a single application was submitted to the competition. As a result, the purchase was declared invalid.
