RTSoft connected a cloud service of VKS

On March 30, 2015 it became known of the beginning of use by RTSoft company of a cloud service "Video conferences on demand" from CTI^[1].

Project Tasks

Prior to work with service of a possibility of video conference of the company were limited to calls between meeting rooms and collective meetings to four participants. Experience of use of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) confirmed expediency of further development of the solution – connection to VKS of new branches, carrying out working meetings and meetings in expanded structure, reduction of time and costs for frequent business trips.

As deployment of own solution VIDEOCONFERENCING will demand considerable investments and is not easy scaled, in the company made the decision - to organize pilot testing of Video Conferences on Demand service from CTI based on which, jointly with specialists of CTI, for permanent use service "virtual server VIDEOCONFERENCING" is selected.

This service provides to customers video resources of the platform with the guaranteed permission without time limits on use that optimum is suitable for holding frequent and long conferences. At the first stage the possibility of carrying out video conferences to five simultaneous participants with HD quality was provided. In addition 20 employees began to use the Cisco Jabber software client and had an opportunity to be connected to conferences from the PC, the notebook or the smartphone, being in a workplace at office, houses or outside office.

The Video Conferences on Demand service is selected.

For connection to service the customer preferred option of the organization protected VPN- the channel through Internet between the central office and DPC CTI. Further video traffic between branches is transferred on the reliable protected corporate data network RTSoft. For preserving of investments connected the video systems which are already installed in meeting rooms to service, and additional premises equipped with modern video terminals Cisco SX20 Quick Set.

Project Results

Transition to service use "Video conferences on demand" helped to optimize travel costs, to increase quality and speed of acceptance of management decisions.
