On July 12, 2018 the INLINE Technologies company announced project completion on creation of a flexible management system traffic in IT infrastructure of the international information TV channel RT. The project became a part of actions for upgrade of a data network and to improvement of internal information services of TV channel.
Development of technology base radio and Internet broadcastings of RT led to increase in load of the existing wideband data links. For optimization of their use and increase in level of information protection of IT infrastructure of directorate of information technologies of RT more effective became necessary in comparison with traditional control facilities and managements of office and applied network traffic.
For implementation of these tasks in corporate IT infrastructure of RT the flexible management system was created by information flows. Its technology basis is formed by the platform of deep inspection of network traffic (Deep Packet Inspection DPI) Allot NetEnforcer/ NetXplorer which allows to manage the bandwidth of communication channels and to monitor its use in data streams and also virtual Allot Service Gateway analyzers. INLINE Technologies completely implemented actions for testing, implementation and setup of the solution.
Sharp growth of variety of traffic and also increase in number of mechanisms of the attacks on the end corporate user force to pay special attention to a comprehensive full-fledged protection of users at all levels, including the analysis of transmitted data. The created flexible management system traffic analyzes data streams in communication channels as the used protocol without tough binding to port numbers of an input exit. Thanks to it administrators of RT can easily prevent unauthorized invasions according to application protocols (HTTP, Skype, FTP and to others). At the same time a system helps to block harmful traffic of a type "user user" (C2C) and requests for remote control the computer and also to collect and correlate information on the used protocols and nodes in real time.
In addition, a system expands possibilities of RT on management of loading of corporate communication channels and control over non-productive Internet activity of employees.
