At the end of October, 2020 the Austrian cryptocurrency exchange Bitpanda announced partnership with Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI). Within this cooperation Bitpanda will transfer steyblkoin from Raiffeisen to the interblockchain platform.
Raiffeisen and the Bitpanda cryptoexchange reported that they are ready to implement a working concept of the interblockchain Pantos system for the experimental steyblkoin under the name RBI Coin created by Raiffeisen for interbank and intra-corporate payments. The Pantos project, in turn, was developed by Bitpanda together with Vienna University of Technology. It is supposed what using the Pantos RBI platform will be able to solve a problem of use of digital products on cardinally different technology platforms.

Andzhelich also noted that Raiffeisen together with the Bitpanda cryptoexchange is developed and test different concepts on the basis of a blockchain which will be able to improve the existing processes or to create new business models.
It is supposed that the collapse of financial markets and a pandemic of a coronavirus pushed the central banks to practical studying of digital economy, but Raiffeisen does not hide the interest in the sphere of a blockchain for a long time. The bank is a part trade Marco Polo blockchain network where carried out a number of pilot projects, including testing of a blockchain platform for fast calculation of intra-corporate payments and testing of the IVNO platform for pledge digitization.[1]
