Raiffeisenbank upgraded DPC

The Hewlett-Packard company completed the project of upgrade of the premises for a data processing center of Raiffeisenbank. In a project deliverable the DPC meeting requirements of level of reliability of Tier III is constructed.

Due to the deficit of computing powers which arose with expansion of operational activity, the management of bank made the decision on purchase of the new equipment and expansion of the server premises. One of requirements of bank was providing a continual loop of activity of already installed computing and communication equipment: an operation mode 7x24, fault tolerance at the level of 99.95%.

Within the project mounting works and a commissioning of conditioning systems and ventilation are performed. The system of precision conditioners performed with reservation of N+1 allows to disconnect "excess" capacities and to alternate inclusion of one of three blocks. The standard form and placement of racks allowed to take away heat with high efficiency and to save resources of conditioners. Their average level of use was 66-70%.

According to Sergey Enyutin, the head of department of information technologies of Raiffeisenbank, work of IT infrastructure of bank in the round-the-clock mode seven days a week predetermines use of modern technologies of ensuring continuous business. In a project deliverable the new DPC which will allow the company to expand a range of the services provided to clients is constructed and to increase their quality.
