Raiffeisenbank Ltd is 100% subsidiary bank of the Austrian banking group Raiffeisen. Bank works in Russia since 1996 and renders a full range of services to private and corporate clients, residents and nonresidents, in rubles and foreign currency. Raiffeisenbank is one of the most reliable banks in Russia: Moody’s Interfax Rating Agency assigned to Bank long-term credit rating on a national scale at the level of Aàa.ru and short-term credit rating — at the RUS-1 level.

In 2007 in connection with growth of bank and merge to IMPEXBANK the number of the implemented projects in this connection, the need for creation of the project management information system (PMIS) and personnel training for this area appeared sharply increased.

As a pilot zone the Project office of the Management of Information Technologies (MIT) was selected. The management for project office set the task to develop procedural and methodical materials on IT project management and to create the information system supporting the developed methodological solutions. Raiffeisenbank asked for the help in implementation of this project experience of the company "the Center of Implementation TEKORA entering into Project PRAKTIKA group.

As the platform for creation of a pilot information system it was selected by Microsoft Enterprise Project Management 2007 – the latest version of the platform for project management from Microsoft corporation. Specialists of Proyektnaya PRAKTIKA Group already had an experience of implementation of this product of different versions.


Work on creation of an information system was carried out in several stages. At the first stage specialists of group prepared regulations of IT project management, in detail describing function of contractors, managers and curators of projects. An accurate regulation of roles – the critical success factor of implementation projects. It not only defines actions of heads, managers, and private traders of separate projects, but also helps to understand better needs of participants of project process according to which it is necessary to carry out setup of an information system.
