Recruiting holding Randstad centralized backup and recovery on Commvault

In June, 2017 the Commvault company announced deliveries to Randstad group of solutions for cloud backup and recovery of all global infrastructure of the company. Randstad uses cloud infrastructure of AWS as a basis of the Shared Service Centre (SSC) for providing global IT services and will use solutions of Commvault for maximum efficiency of this center.

Randstad Group is a global service provider of HR who specializes in flexible services of providing personnel for temporary and full-time employment. IT infrastructure of Randstad is consolidated in 30 centralized IT departments servicing 40 companies in Europe, North and South America in the Middle East and in the Pacific Rim.

The Commvault platform implemented functions of deduplication and data compression which reduce the needs for the capacity of storage systems and thus provide significant savings. The integration checked in practice between a public cloud of Randstad based on AWS for which deployment the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) corporation and solutions of Commvault is responsible became other important argument for benefit of Commvault.

Commvault implements automatic data movement on the basis of corporate the politician between the storage systems and servers located in data center of the customer in Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) or Amazon Glacier. Also the solutions Commvault allow to move all workloads to EC2 copies directly. Cross-platform integration with more than 25 cloud providers allows to implement processes of management of data in EC2 along with other cloud platforms, including VMware, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Hyper-V.
