On December 11, 2018 "1C Company reported that the Armex company completed system implementation "1C: Operational printing 8" in printing house of Razkrask. As a result in peak of a polygraphic season the printing house could increase the volume of the printed orders twice.
Prerequisites of the Project
With an early autumn and about new year the number of orders, as well as in all industry, sharply increases in printing house - clients print corporate gifts, calendars, cards and similar products. In printing house of Razkrask in season peak the number of orders increases up to 300 pieces a week. To quickly process such volume manually - to calculate without errors and to distribute a priority of accomplishment of orders - without confusion impracticablly. Despite the provided reserve capacities of the equipment and the practiced set of temporary personnel, a shaft of New Year's orders did not allow printing house to ensure systematic and smooth functioning on production. All this led to frequent errors of managers and discontent of employees of production, it was necessary to specify constantly something and to make corrections, both to orders, and to the production schedule.
Project Goals and Objectives
The information system which would allow to arrange a big flow of versatile orders became necessary for the enterprise, to unify and accelerate their calculation, a design and transfer to production, to exclude need of permanent approvals of standard orders between sales department and production department. Besides, it was necessary to organize in one system operational processing of all documents of the company - orders, accounting documentation, documents for shipment.
Project Results
For the solution of assigned tasks the specialized industry solution "was selected by 1C: Operational printing 8". The Armex company became the partner in implementation.
Key results of the project:
- Calculation of simple and difficult orders for the templates configured in a system is automated. Creation of personal templates under the specific client practices. At the repeat order the manager finds a ready template in base and either copies the order, or makes necessary changes on the circulation and cost. It considerably accelerates calculation and order processing and saves personnel time - all transaction takes one-two minutes then the order goes to production.
- It was succeeded to achieve competent and almost faultless filling of the process chart of the order. All technology transactions of a prepress, printing and finishing are unified, managers need only to note the necessary transactions in the process chart. It minimized quantity of errors. Besides, strictly formalized procedure of filling of process charts and automatic calculation of orders allowed to improve work planning, as a result density of loading of the equipment increased, on average, by 10-15%.
- In printing house dispatching system of orders in production is implemented. In a system in real time information on implementation phase of each order is displayed, automatic transfer of orders from some employees to others therefore the management always sees where there is an order who accepted it in work and what transaction is executed is configured. It helped to improve production planning and practically to exclude failures and idle times. Strict observance of the diagram of production is provided that raises a customer loyalty.
- Scheduling of orders helped to solve one more important problem of production management and costs - in printing house keep account of the actual development on technology transactions of all production employees (printers and workers of the postprinting shop) and also accounting of their working time. It allowed to set fair performance standards and quotations. As a result performance of personnel increased, development of products by turns by each employee grew, on average, by 7-10%.
- A system is integrated with the accounting program of printing house. From "1C: Operational printing" in "1C: Accounting 8" is unloaded all information on orders: their cost, paid amount, debt value, data on cost and amount of materials. It considerably simplified work of accountants: they in the program, usual for themselves receive all necessary data for operational formation of documents and reports, there is no need something a post factum to specify on production. The reporting for tax authorities is prepared quicker and more simply.
"The polygraphic industry has a certain seasonality, the peak of orders in which is the share of fall and winter, and each successful printing house in own way prepares for it. System "1C: Operational printing 8" solved for us a problem of preparation for a New Year's season. Thanks to what when order amount begins to read off scale, and in workshops the unprocessed circulations lie and as much again wait for the queue, it is enough to look at the screen of the computer and to place a priority of their accomplishment".
