Renaissance Insurance completed upgrade of IT infrastructure

On March 31, 2015 the I-Teco company announced a successful completion of the project of upgrade of IT infrastructure using the equipment of NR custom-made Renaissance Insurance Groups.

Project Progress

"The innovative solutions used at upgrade of the IT platform are designed to improve its utilization properties, indicators of reliability and performance, – Semyon Timokhin, the managing director of management of IT infrastructure of Renaissance Insurance Group told. – It means that our company in the next several years will have an opportunity most effectively to use computing powers for creation new and development of the existing corporate IT services, and our clients will be able to be sure that we will provide further the stable and high level of insurance service".

Specialists of I-Teco in five months created a hardware and software system as a part of which:

• modern HP disk arrays of StoreServ 3PAR 7400 with modules 3PAR File Controller;

• the software for creation of the subway cluster HP ServiceGuard for Unix/Linux platforms in a complex with means of ensuring of integrity of data HP 3PAR Recovery Manager.

At design and implementation technologies of synchronous replication of data between arrays and creations of instant copies of data are used. The disaster-proof configuration of a farm of virtualization VMware vSphere 5.1 Stretched Cluster using technology of uninterrupted access of Peer Persistence to two arrays is implemented. The contractor executes a complex of mounting works, to setup actions on the equipment, software configurations and data migrations.

Project Results

The Renaissance Insurance Group increased the level of availability of information systems and reliability of all infrastructure of data storage.
