On November 11, 2015 the Konica Minolta company announced the project of outsourcing of office printing in the headquarters and branches of Renaissance Insurance Group.

Project Tasks

"The organization of a single system of printing with the configured politicians of access for users of three locations of the client — Moscow, St. Petersburg and Tver became the main objective of the project — Vladimir Dementiev, the head of corporate sales of Konica Minolta noted. — Also the customer focused attention on the main objective of the project — protection of documentation and internal information against unauthorized access and use. For implementation of an assigned task the uniform infrastructure of printing integrating a specialized software and input/output devices of information with uniform parameters of quality and availability of service was created".

Project Progress

As Dementiev reported, initially the company booked audit and analyzed the current infrastructure of the client and on the basis of data retrieveds experts could understand needs of the customer. Results of audit helped to develop the project of optimization within which the number of the used equipment is reduced, to reduce operating costs of account and spare materials, to reduce quantity of the consumed electric power and heat release.

Project Results

"The project on management and process optimization of printing with Konica Minolta allowed us to reduce costs and operating expenses on 15%. While we made total replacement of the corporate equipment by modern and high-performance MFPs, implemented the single software platform on media control of printing integrated with the Active Directory received reporting system which allowed us to carry correctly costs for service of printing and also could reduce significantly risks on unauthorized access to internal, including confidential information" — Semyon Timokhin, the managing director of department of IT noted Renaissance Insurance.
