2016: Court

On April 12, 2016 it became known of an incident using old spare parts under repair of the expensive medical equipment in one of Kaliningrad hospitals.

According to the Rugrad.eu portal, the central city clinical hospital located at the address Kaliningrad, Letnyaya St., 5 unilaterally terminated the agreement with Medisana Service company which, allegedly, repaired the magnetic and resonant GE Healthcare tomograph by means of second-hand component parts.

The Kaliningrad hospital filed a lawsuit against the contractor who repaired the tomograph for 12.5 million second-hand rubles spare parts

The producer reported to hospital that, according to marking of the component used under repair, huzhur the x-ray radiator and the x-ray radiator were a part of the recovered tube made in 2009 and set in one of the American hospitals in the summer of 2010. This tube was used in the USA up to 2014. GE Healthcare noted that serial numbers are not assigned to the recovered tubes repeatedly.

Thus, according to the chief physician of hospital Sergey Kulikov, it was proved that the x-ray tube which set Medisana Service is not made by 100% from new components and is not made by GE Healthcare company. The cost of the tomograph is 12.5 million rubles.

The central city clinical hospital announced a tender on repair of the equipment in August, 2015. The Intelmed company participating in biddings then complained in antimonopoly authorities that the medical institution specified model of the not purchased x-ray tube and which is already installed in the tomograph and subject to replacement in auction documentation. It creates uncertainty in the form of the rendered services and an opportunity for delivery of the spare parts not compatible to the tomograph which needed under repair, declared in Intelmed.

For the fact that the central city clinical hospital terminated the agreement with Medisana Service with a one-sided order the last filed a lawsuit against the customer. The hospital did not pay money for repair of the tomograph.[1]
