Glavstroy has launched Russia's first automated facade washing system at a residential complex in Beregovy Proezd in western Moscow, which is a unique domestic development without analogues on the Russian market. The robotic complex is designed to serve complex architectural structures with V-shaped geometry, combining glass surfaces and anodized aluminum. Representatives of Glavstroy announced the introduction of innovative technology at the end of August 2025.

According to CNews, the facade cleaning robot includes several technological components: a dual rail track Power Rail 3000EU, a machine unit based on BMR3000 from Building Maintenance Robotics for moving around the perimeter of the building and a specialized engagement module for cleaning work.

The development, assembly and configuration of the robotic system is carried out by the Russian company Electroprof LLC, which provides technical support for the project. Pre-commissioning works are carried out on the site to set up the start-up of the cleaning element to the required height and debug the software.

The technological process of facade cleaning takes place according to the following algorithm: the machine unit moves along the rail track, taking the necessary position according to the laid down program. Focusing on software and guiding elements, the robot releases a module with cleaning "petals" to the highest point of the treated surface.

Once the top position is reached, the system releases the cleaning elements and begins the washing process, gradually descending down the facade of the building. At the end of the work cycle, the module returns to its original position, ready for the next stage of surface treatment.[1]
