GMCS transferred to SAP solutions the seventh Roca Group plant in Russia

The GMCS company announced start in commercial operation of single corporate solution on enterprise management based on SAP ERP in Akvaton company, producer of bathroom furniture and sinks from cast marble. According to the results of the project the customer received the convenient business tool allowing it to manage more effectively production processes, finance, sale and logistics and also providing support in achievement of strategic plans of development of the enterprise.

Akvaton performs a full stroke of production of bathroom furniture, since development of design of models and finishing them with assembly. More than 500 people work at two plants "Akvaton" located in 100 km to the east from Moscow in the settlement of Davydovo of the Orekhovo-Zuyevo district. In the spring of 2011 of Akvaton was a part of the international holding Roca Group. In terms of corporate management there was a need for the implementing solutions SAP ERP, being the uniform standard within all enterprises of group.

For the company it is already the fourth project within the cooperation with Roca Group in Russia which began in 2008. Within several years of GMCS projects at five plants of holding were implemented: "Roca Rus" (Tosno, Leningrad Region), Ugrakeram (Vorotynsk, Kaluga region) and Ceramics (Cheboksary and Novocheboksarsk, Chuvashia). As marked out Cyrus Burm, the associate director of department of SAP solutions of GMCS company, "in Roca holding of the standard solution for furniture production, than and is engaged in Akvaton, it is simple not. Therefore, unlike the previous projects, in close interaction with specialists of Akvaton we almost from scratch thought over and developed a solution architecture under the client".

In general at the Akvaton plant the following functionality of SAP ERP is implemented: management of a production cycle, since production planning and finishing with finished product output; logistics — management of material flows, purchases, sale. Also within the implemented solution processes of financial accounting (accounting, tax, management accounting) are automated, the possibility of cost accounting of end products and conducting production controlling is provided. For problems of short-term planning of production integration of SAP ERP with a system of accounting of 1C used in Akvaton is executed.
