2020: Optimization of printing infrastructure

On February 25, 2020 it became known that Konica Minolta completed the project of optimization of printing infrastructure of JSC ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL, subsidiary company PJSC Rosneft. Updating of the park of devices allowed the company to receive high-quality service, transparent terms of service and operational problem solving in print area.

The project was implemented at office of JSC ROSPAN INTERNATIONAL company to Novy Urengoy. In its framework specialists of Konica Minolta step by step updated the park of the printing equipment of the customer. For February 25, 2020 within the project 132 multifunction printing devices (MFPs) of A4 and A3 format are installed.

The pilot project was started in April, 2019. After that the updated infrastructure of printing was implemented in four additional divisions. Konica Minolta undertook all questions of printing and service of the park of devices, including timely delivery of supplies and the operational solution of the arising incidents. In plans of the company – implementation of the project in one department and also start of upgraded version of SafeQ, the hardware solution for infrastructure management of printing and access control to the MFP functions.

the flexibility and predictability of vendor interaction of services of printing are very important For us. Also we aimed to reduce a chain of multilevel approvals and long procedures of purchases in the company which led to interruptions in deliveries of supplies and idle times in operation of printing devices. It in turn led to periodic failures of all cycle of document flow. According to the results of implementation of a pilot project we had a confidence in quality and reliability of work of Konica Minolta as service provider of outsourcing and for this reason we made the decision to continue our cooperation and to implement outsourcing of printing in additional divisions of the company,

Due to the lack of transparent parameters of service maintenance of the company face a number of difficulties. For example, in case of breakdown it is difficult to customers to predict the repair cost or terms of recovery of the equipment. The conclusion of the service agreement in which parameters of service, including terms of the solution of incidents are stated helps to avoid such problems. Thus the service provider of outsourcing undertakes all questions connected by printing infrastructure, and the customer can direct resources of own support department to the solution of other tasks,
