2024: Electricity Storage Systems Implementation Agreement
Rosseti Moscow Region and Rusnano agreed to introduce power storage systems in distribution networks. Signature on the document put General Director of PJSC Rosseti Moscow Region Alexander Pyatigor and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Rusnano Management Company LLC Dmitry Tarasov. The company was informed about this on September 27, 2024.
Within the framework of the Agreement, agreements were reached on cooperation in terms of application of stationary power storage systems in 0.4-20 kV distribution networks, in operating permanent systems current of high-voltage substations, as well as their use as backup power supply sources during periods of special significant events.
This will improve the quality of power supply consumers and unload electrical network units during peak periods loads. In addition, it is planned to unite efforts for development charging infrastructure for electric transport, including site planning arrangement of charging stations in reference to the electric grid topology infrastructure of PJSC Rosseti Moscow Region, a subsidiary of PJSC Rosseti.
The agreement will become the basis for consolidating the efforts and competencies of our companies for the purpose of technological development and technological independence of the electric grid complex of the Moscow region, with the subsequent scaling of the experience gained throughout Russia, - said Alexander Pyatigor. |
As part of the implementation of pilot projects in different regions of the country, RUSNANO managed to create its own knowledge bank in the field of energy storage and its efficient use. Cooperation with the largest electric grid company in the Moscow region opens up new opportunities to improve the quality of electricity supply to residents of the capital and the region.
