2023: Agreement to identify commercial losses in the electric networks of the Siberian Federal District
PJSC MTS"" June 19, 2023 announced the expansion of cooperation with PJSC Rosseti Siberia"." The companies signed an agreement that involves the implementation of a project to identify commercial losses in the electric networks of the Siberian Federal District.
The agreement was signed by Andrey Rego, Vice President for Interaction with MTS State Authorities, and Pavel Akilin, General Director of Rosseti Siberia PJSC.
The partnership between MTS and Rosseti Siberia provides for the introduction of the EnergyTool platform for finding commercial losses in power grids with geoanalysts. The platform allows you to quickly and timely detect metering devices that transmit low readings and identify specific areas of the network on which theft occurs using Big Data technologies and artificial intelligence.
The statistical model of the EnergyTool platform analyzes the power consumption of subscribers based on loaded data from meters and automated power metering systems (ASCUE) and identifies characteristic signs of theft. The estimated areas where thefts occur are displayed on the map in an interface that is convenient for planning team visits.
We hope for fruitful cooperation with Rosseti Siberia and are confident that our solution will help significantly reduce electricity theft. In the future, we plan to continue to help the electric grid companies of the regions reduce costs by reducing the cost of compensation for electricity losses, "said Andrei Rego, Vice President for Interaction with MTS State Authorities. |
Extensive experience in automating business processes and an proactive approach to the use of digital technologies by MTS in addition to our current work will allow us to quickly get a practical effect on reducing power losses in networks. As a pilot territory for the implementation of the project, a region with a high level of automation will be identified - Kuzbass. In the future, the project can be scaled up to other territories, especially where we record a large amount of commercial electricity losses, "said Pavel Akilin, General Director of Rosseti Siberia PJSC. |
