On June 15, 2022, Rosseti Lenenergo and MegaFon announced cooperation, in which the energy company will introduce Internet of Things sensors to combat electricity theft. It is noted that analytics based on IoT sensors will quickly give a signal about abnormal readings from metering devices.

Rosseti and MegaFon agreed to exchange experience, identify potential areas for the introduction of innovative products in the field of electricity, as well as test digital solutions as part of pilot projects.
