Rostelecom: VPN for the multifunction centers

The Rostov branch of JSC "Rostelecom" completed creation of VPN for the multifunction center (MFC) for Koroleva St., 9.

In a project deliverable the protected corporate network with a full range of services and a quality assurance of service was implemented. It will allow to render to residents of Rostov a broad spectrum of state services in the principle of "one window", promoting project implementation Electronic government.

The multifunction center for the address Koroleva St., 9 provides to citizens the public and municipal services. Among them document creation in the field of social support of the population, road economy, the property and land and civil relations. For providing the relevant services and protection of the transmitted data, the Rostov branch of JSC "Rostelecom" created corporate VPN. It integrated this MFC with other similar centers and the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction.

Now Rostelecom already connected four multifunction centers in Rostov. And until the end of the year uniform VPN will be integrated by 12 MFC of the Don capital in process of their creation. At the same time construction of fiber lines of communication to each of MFC is performed at the expense of own means of the operator.

The service of VPN is provided by the Rostov branch of JSC "Rostelecom" based on own high-speed data network. Hundreds of the regional companies and organizations of different level were already convinced of reliability and security of this network.

The national operator "Rostelecom" according to the order of the Government of the Russian Federation is the only contractor of the FTP "Information society (2011-2020)" on creation of infrastructure of Electronic government. During this project the company actively cooperates with federal and regional public authorities and also municipalities, concerning transition to providing state services in electronic form.
