NVision Group won the tender for service maintenance and support of IP MPLS JSC Rostelecom network

NVision Group for the seventh time won in the spring of 2014 the tender for service maintenance and technical support of the IP MPLS JSC Rostelecom network built based on the equipment Juniper Networks.

The duration of the agreement – one year. Specialists of NVision Group took part in upgrade of a backbone network of the operator and, since 2008, provided uninterrupted operation of its work. At the end of 2013 conditions of SLA were satisfied for 99.64%.

"We developed and upgraded a backbone network, first of all, to provide residents of the country with modern telecommunication services. The Russian market of services, such as Internet access or IPTV, very competitive therefore high-quality support of operability of telecommunication infrastructure is extremely important for us. The service command of NVision Group could provide the necessary level of non-failure operation", - the senior vice president for operation of communication networks of JSC Rostelecom Alexander Tseitlin told.

Rostelecom began operation of IP MPLS network in 2007. Its cumulative capacity makes 7.8 Tb / page the Network covers all regions of the country, contains 24 nodes of the kernel level and 110 regional distributing nodes.

According to the results of 2008 and 2011 the company was entitled the best Russian partner of Juniper Networks based on whose equipment and software the IP MPLS network of Rostelecom is built.
