2025: Transition to reporting based on domestic IT solutions instead of Oracle software
In mid-June 2025, it became known about the completion of the project to form a reporting system in the B2C segment for Rostelecom. It is implemented by the IBS group.
As specified in the IBS press service, within the framework of the project, the preparation of analytics was transferred from the foreign BI platform Oracle BI to the Russian RT.DataVision, and a centralized data storage (CKD) was used to consolidate data from CRM B2C.
It is specified that the telecommunications operator has switched to a domestic CRM system based on a microservice architecture. Analytics preparation for the B2C segment is now carried out through the Russian platform.
Rostelecom uses a centralized data warehouse to consolidate data from the new CRM B2C. All IT products represent the company's own developments to ensure technological independence.
The IBS group of companies has become a technological partner for building a reporting system on the updated IT landscape. The project team has migrated and refined the functionality of the main storage facilities.
Experts have transferred more than 40 data marts, which represents a significant amount in terms of stored attributes. Engineers have improved the analytical reporting system with daily data updates.
To prepare operational reporting, a real-time data store has been created. The solution provides quick access to up-to-date information for management decisions.
The RT.DataVision platform has developed BI reporting with the necessary analytical slices. The functionality supports the company's management and operational solutions.
More than 100 forms of operational and analytical reports have been implemented for various business tasks. Reports are used daily by over 500 business users of Rostelecom and subsidiaries.[1]
