2020: Start of the program of career development of B2Career in a segment of mass market
The Rostelecom company announced on September 10, 2020 start of the program of career development of B2Career in a segment of mass market. All processes will be built based on own IT system of search of candidates of IQHR.
B2Career is a federal program of career development of professional ambitious staff of Rostelecom. The program starts in all regions in a key segment of the company — B2C. After successful implementation in a segment of mass market it is going to scale the program on other divisions of the company.
At the first stage of the program candidates for positions of the director of regional branch and directors of B2C of regional branch are considered. The employees having necessary knowledge and the corresponding experience can apply for these positions. If there is not enough knowledge necessary for a desirable position, the participant of the program will be able to be trained at the corporate university of Rostelecom.
To become the priority candidate, the employee needs to approve participation in the program with the direct head, to prepare the successor, to define readiness for moving to other region and to pass assessment on the selected position. After that the candidate can wait for opening of a vacancy and interview invitation with the employing head. In the course of preparation for the planned change of a position the employee openly interacts both with current, and with future head. Thus, during the B2Career program in the company the transparent mechanism of training of successors will form.
All process will be completely digitized: from application for participation in the program before the final choice of the candidate for a vacant position. All processes are constructed based on IQHR — the IT system of search of candidates developed by specialists of Rostelecom. A system facilitates process of selection for the employing head: online he can look at all candidates potentially suitable on an open position and estimate them.

It is planned that B2Career will allow to reduce the adaptation period of new heads, besides, thanks to the program process of selection of candidates of an internal reserve will become more transparent, effective and mobile.
